About

For 100 years, Dugan-Kramer Funeral Home & Crematory has provided Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and surrounding communities with fine funeral care. With just 15,000 people, this Nebraska Panhandle community is special, and we are proud to serve the funeral and cremation needs of this unique area. We treat people from all walks of life like they are members of our very own family—because in many ways they are.

A lovely Scottsbluff funeral home

Lobby at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Home & CrematoryLocated in the heart of the town, on Avenue B, the red brick funeral home building is distinguished by four white columns. Windows all along the front let in lots of natural light, and warm furnishings make it a comfortable place to plan a funeral or cremation and celebrate life.

A traditional funeral chapel with wooden pews seats 140 guests and has an overflow room that can accommodate an additional 50 if needed. The reception room seats up to 50 for a gathering of family and friends before or after a funeral or memorial. From a breakfast buffet or afternoon cookies and coffee to a sit-down dinner, we are happy to help arrange food and drinks.

A caring team committed to personalized service

Our funeral home team prides itself on attention to detail and going the extra mile. There is almost nothing we won’t do to ensure that your family is well cared for. Whether you need a catered reception or a few extra moments with your loved one, we make it happen. We have spent our careers caring for friends and neighbors, and we carry a true passion for guiding families through their most difficult moments.

We believe that it’s important to take the time to acknowledge the life of a loved one. We design services that celebrate the individuality of a person, taking care to incorporate as many personal touches as possible. And we work hard to ensure that each service is unique. From an outdoor celebration with local musicians and a dove release to a cremation memorial with barbecue to anything between or beyond, we’ll make it happen.

Our private on-site crematory

Floral arrangement in a vase on top of a table inside a funeral home. Cremation is an increasingly common choice, but not everyone knows that cremation can also include a beautiful ceremony or even a viewing with visitation. From a cremation without a funeral service to a cremation with a memorial that follows, we help you understand the variety of arrangements that are possible and partner with you to create a unique service for your loved one.

Dugan-Kramer operates a private crematory on the property. That means your loved one never leaves the funeral home premises and is always in our care.

We are here for you

Our goal is kindness, compassion and one-of-a-kind service. Whether you are planning a funeral or cremation ahead of time or need immediate assistance, call us anytime, day or night.
